A bit About me ..


My name is Motaz Alfarraj. I am a Ph.D. student with Prof. Ghassan AlRegib at Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta. I am a member of the Center for Energy and Geo Processing (CeGP) and Omni Lab for Intelligent Visual Engineering and Science (OLIVES). I have a scholarship from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) as part of their faculty preparation program. 

My research interests are in digital signal and image processing, and machine learning. Specifically, I work on seismic image processing, texture image processing, and applications of machine learning for seismic interpretation and reservoir characterization.
